REUNIONS

The RHS Class of 1964 will hold a reunion/class get-together from 3 to 8 p.m. Oct. 4 at Rockdale Country Club. The event will include hamburgers with all the fixings for $8.50. Water and iced tea will be provided with the meal. Sodas, mixed drinks and beer may be purchased separately from the club.

Milam County 4-H Banquet highlights success

The 2022 Milam County 4-H Banquet was held on Wed., September 14, at the Cameron ISD Performing Arts Center. The evening program gave recognition to 4-H’ers achieving success in their projects and contests.

Fun day of painting at MARC Center

MARC Center consumers, board members and volunteers had a great time painting bicycles donated by the Rockdale Police Department. The bikes will eventually be worked into the landscaping for a bright spot of color.

Communication is the most important aspect of any relationship. No matter what kind, if you are not communicating, the relationship will die. The closest friends I have ever had were the ones I made in college. I was attending Tarleton State University at the time.
