Hot and cold summer suppers

Here’s a good hot pasta dinner recipe. Use more or less red pepper flakes to suit your taste. If you think it’s a little dry at the end add a couple of tablespoons of pasta water. If it’s too loose add more Parmesan cheese.

First Friday Coffee

QUILT AUCTION—Rosalinda Braun (L) and Carolyn Cooper show off a quilt that will be auctioned to raise money for the Senior Center on Green Street. Braun came up with the idea and enlisted the help of Leslie Tingey, Sis. Kathie Bingham and Alexis Eiland to help.

Summer pasta salad recipes

I’m going to lose a few of you with this recipe. There seems to be no middle ground about bleu cheese. People either love it or hate it. As for me, it is hands down my favorite cheese of all. The warm pasta and vinegar will help wilt the baby spinach. And you don’t have to use Gorgonzola.
