The Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Anchor of Serenity which recenly joined the Chamber. At the ceremony were (L-R) Leesa Perez, Hannah Farris, Krystal Vickers, Charlie and Pat Watson, Yashica Molfett and Terry Young, the owner. Anchor of Serenity is a counseling service for addiction, mood disorders, depression and anxiety. The website is www.anchortoserenity.com. Rockdale Earth Day has awarded the home of Ward and Kathryne Roddam, 1604 Skyles, the Yard of the Month for May. The Roddams will receive a $25 gift certificate to Bloomers Garden Center in Elgin.
