One felony arrest, one accident reported this week by RPD

Rockdale Police Officers made one felony arrest during the past week: • Samuel Walker Jr., 69, Cameron, was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon with a felony conviction and possession of a controlled substance (less than 28 grams). Accidents Ofc.

MILAM COUNTY JAIL LOG

Jail log lists all people charged with offenses through the county jail in Cameron. Charges may change during the process. Persons are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. • Abel Aguirre, 18, Rockdale, possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), released.

Matinee Musical Club holds February meeting

The Matinee Musical Club met on February 19, at the First Presbyterian Church in Rockdale with 13 members and two guests present. The hosts were Mona Butala and Marie Gest who served delicious refreshments.

Extension office moving

The Mi l am C ou nty Extension Office will be moving to a new building in March. Our dates of move will be March 6-13, and our office will be closed during this time frame.
