We goofed last week thinking Kane Quinney was the first baby of the year who was born on Jan. 7. The Reporter got a call on Wednesday morning after the online edition came out from Candace Timmerman whose baby, Ella, was born two days prior to Kane on Friday, Jan. 5.

Milano High School to host Miss Globe pageant

Milano High School will hold their annual Miss Globe pageant at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the high school cafetorium. The pageant is a fundraiser for Project Graduation and will include a silent auction. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children and senior citizens.

ORGANIZATIONS

Rockdale Rotary Club meets the first, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is provided. Rockdale Noon Lions Club also meets at RVFD on the first and third Wednesday of each month with lunch provided.
