Rockdale ISD announces adoption of 2023 tax rate

Ag boosters selling fundraiser tickets

The Milano/Gause Ag Booster Club has tickets for sale for a pulled pork sandwich fundraiser. Your $12 ticket will get a sandwich, chips and a drink. This event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Salem Hall in FairPark, Rockdale. GOLD OUT— Milano’s Gold Out football game will be held Sept. 22.

ORGANIZATIONS

Rockdale Rotary Club meets the first, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is provided. Rockdale Noon Lion’s Club also meets at RVFD on the first and third Wednesday of each month with lunch provided.

O ur community is saddened by the death of Wanda Sue Ely Coats. She was one of the pillars of our community. Our family and her family did so many fun things and were ready to help each other when needed. She will certainly be missed. God has a new angel in heaven, the best place to be.
