Texas 4-H Congress is a four-day mock legislative experience for 4-H members in grades 9 to 12. During this time, 4-H’ers assume the roles of legislators, lobbyists, and press corps to gain a firsthand understanding of how the legislative process works.

Rockdale PD makes five felony arrests over past week

Rockdale Police Officers made five felony arrests during the past week including: • James Willis Hill Jr., 39,Caldwell, was arrested Tuesday by Sgt. Hubnik for a Rockdale Police Department warrant for aggravated robbery. • Justin Duane Stevenson, 32, Rockdale, was arrested Wednesday by Ofc.

I'am excited to welcome back the Milano News section of The Rockdale Reporter. I used to look forward to reading this section every Thursday to see how everyone was doing and get caught up on dates for local events. I Putting this column back in the paper will require teamwork.

We have a cat that is always ready to pounce on the other cats and dogs. It is funny to watch them. Granddaughter Addy loves the animals. We think she should be an animal doctor. We realize that is a decision she will have to make years down the road.

ORGANIZATIONS

Alcoa retirees to meet June 9 in Thorndale Rockdale Alcoa Retirees will hold a meeting on Thursday, June 9, at 5 p.m. at the Thorndale Veteran’s Memorial Hall. The business meeting begins at 5:45 and then the election for officers. Meals will be $15.
