Setting goals for new year

Though it’s common to ring in the New Year by making resolutions for the year, it’s far less popular to set goals for the next 12 months. Resolutions and goals might be similar, but they’re not exactly the same.

I was recently watching a movie in which a little girl was on a swing and a large boy who was behind her asked, “Do you need a push?” When the little girl smiled and nodded, he put his large hand on her back and gave a gentle push. Then the little girl exclaimed, “Push me higher, push me higher!

Infusion Clinic News

We have been pleading with TDEM and the State to leave the infusion clinic in Rockdale.  We have a very central location for rural Central Texas and a great facility to house the clinic.  Last week, TDEM advised the clinic would end on December 31, 2021.

Missing a rooster in Rockdale?

Is anyone missing a rooster? This handsome fellow was in the alley behind The Reporter last week but has since taken up residence at First Baptist Church. According to a few Baptists, he interrupted several services that went on there over the weekend by making a joyful noise.
