The Aggie Moms have been busy placing “Gigged” and “Hooked” signs in yards to help raise funds for scholarships. I have been hearing a lot of fun stories about arriving home to see the signs. Good job, Aggie Moms!

Rockdale Downtown Association’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Wolf Park. The tree lighting will begin at 7 p.m. The food will be served at 6 p.m. so you can eat before the tree lighting.

Thorndale Town & County Club’s recent community service project was making blankets for residents at Rockdale Estates and Rehabilitation. Each member completed at least one blanket, and some completed more than one.

Rockdale Christmas Roundup has begun, and applications can be found online at rockdaleisd. net . Hard copies of the applications can be picked up at The Rockdale Reporter, Rockdale Signs, local churches and any Rockdale ISD, Milano ISD, or Gause ISD office.
