The first chapter of the Gospel of Mark tells a literally touching story. A leper came to Jesus begging to be healed. He knelt before Jesus, saying, “If you choose, you can make me clean.” Moved with pity, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him and the leper was made clean.

STANDING ROOM ONLY— Wild Things Zoofari was a huge success on Friday at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library as over 260 people packed the house to see lots of animals. Dylan McDaniel, who owns the animals, brought a red ruffed lemur, a chocolate skunk, a soft chinchilla, a tenrec from Madagascar, a Fennec fox and a 9-month-old kangaroo. All the kids got to pet the chinchilla and the kangaroo. See more photos on page 10A.
