ROYALTY

Jackson Perry and Cassidy Smith have been named Mr. and Mrs. Rockdale High School. Winners of the annual award were announced at Saturday night’s RHS Prom in the Patterson Civic Center.

Roundup set Tuesday at elementary

Autopsy in city worker’s death

An autopsy has been performed in the death of a City of Rockdale employee April 8 at his home. Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Andy Isaacs told The Reporter an insurance company ordered the autopsy of 48-year-old Brian Galbreath. (Obituary page 7B).

4-H’ers judge horses, agriculture products

MILAM 4-H NEWS The District 4-H Horse Judging Contest took place on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6. Milam youth had great success. Thanks, to Cassie Callahan, for coaching the horse judging teams and to Cindy Widner and Jocelyn Ramthun for judging the Ag Product ID teams.

IT’S CALLED ‘POLITICS’

Rockdale-area artist Melton Guthrie’s vision of a red rooster and blue rooster fighting over a lizard bears that title and you are free to draw your own conclusions. The painting won second place in the prestigious Conroe Art League’s Fourth Annual Invitational Juried Art Show.
