The work along US 79 by the Texas Department of Transportation in Rockdale’s downtown has now been postponed twice and still has no new start date. “TxDOT is working with the owners of conflicting utilities to have them adjusted allowing for construction to commence,” a notice from a TxDOT spokesman said, Nov. 18.
