After an improvement in October, the City of Rock-dale and Milam County are back “in the red” on sales tax receipts.
The Rockdale Municipal Development District, however, posted gains both for the month and year-to-date.
State Comptroller Glenn Hegar disbursed October sales tax checks last week.
Milam County 4-H Plant Identification teams competed at the State Fair of Texas and placed very high as follows:

Rose sale set for Saturday at Chamber
Little River Basin Master Gardeners Association’s (LRBMGA) Fall Rose sale is set for Saturday, in Rockdale and Cameron, according to Jennifer Lazarow, marketing committee member.
Roses will be sold at two locations, the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce from 9 a.m.
