Alexander

Sue Alexander, 91, of Lexington died Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, in Temple.

Visitation will be from 12-noon to 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with graveside services at 2 p.m. at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington.

Mrs. Alexander was born Aug. 25, 1929, to George W. and Anna Laura (Liverman) Thompson in Eutaw, Alabama.

She married John H. Alexander on Aug. 6, 1949, in Houston.

Mrs. Alexander retired from All Right Auto Parks in Houston in 1984 after 40-plus years of service.

She enjoyed gardening, trail riding and water skiing.

Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Alexander on Feb. 5, 1998, her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors are a son, Butch Alexander of San Leon; a daughter, Debra Moody and husband Gregg of Temple; her grandchildren, David Plaehn and wife Kara, Bo Alexander and wife Holly, Shawna Kinsey and husband Ronnie Baladez, Clayton Alexander, Kayla Moody and Kacie Moody; a brother, Joe Thompson; and a sister, Peggy Larson; also, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Mike Alexander, Larry Stancik, Layne Dussetschleger, Darrell Dussetschleger, Billy Alexander and Gregg Moody.
