Archer

Graveside services for Donny Archer, 74, of Milano are set for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, at Bartlett Cemetery in Bartlett with Pastor Robert Stephens of Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Mr. Archer died Friday, Sept. 20, at his home in Milano.

He was born Nov. 16, 1944, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to Ralph and Lena (Harron) Archer.

Mr. Archer served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

He lived in Milano and was formerly of Bartlett.

He was a master electrician at Alcoa in Rockdale for over 20 years.

Mr. Archer was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lena Archer.

Survivors are a son, Daniel Archer and wife Mary Jo of Hare, and three sisters, Sandra Barrett and husband Terry, Joann Dyer, Mary Jean Courtright and husband Chris, all of Tennessee.
