Armour

Evelyn Jerlene “Jerry” Armour, 96, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021, at Brookdale Richland Hills Nursing Home in Bedford.

She will be cremated and no ser v ices are planned. Interment of ashes will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at a later date.

Mrs. Armour was born March 15, 1925, in Trent to William Elmer and Irene (Greene) Pomroy.

On Dec. 30, 1944, she married Dr. John S. “Doc” Armour Jr. in Trent.

Mrs. Armour worked in cosmetology.

She lived in Rockdale until moving to North Richland Hills for the past five years.

Mrs. Armour was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Doc Armour on Nov. 20, 2017.

Survivors are two daughters, Gloria Donnelly of Bedford, Barbara Morton and husband Buddy of Black Jack; four grandchildren, Wayne Pickett and wife Theresa, James Baker and wife Vickie, William Baker and wife Samantha and Laura Bozydaj and husband Rob; and seven great-grandchildren, Tyler Pickett, Leslie Pickett, Brandon Baker, Jonah Baker, Britani Baker, Colton Murphree and Lincoln Bozydaj.
