Roy “Buddy” Baggerly, 65, of Rockdale died Friday, April 28, 2023, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. B a g gerly was born July 28, 1957, in Hearne to Royce “Dutch” and Jackie (Guthrie) Baggerly.

His wife is Sylvia Baggerly and they were married on July 1, 1978, in Rockdale.

Mr. Baggerly was a carpenter and mason.

He loved to hunt and fish and always enjoyed a cold beer.

His mother and father preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife, Sylvia Baggerly; three sons, Amador Baggerly, David Baggerly and Bobby Baggerly; three daughters, Jessie Baggerly, April McRae and Jackie Lacey; and two siblings, Joe Baggerly of Huntsville and Lachelle Lopez of Pflugerville; also, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
