Encarnacion “Concho” Perez Banda, 86, of Rockdale died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, surrounded by his family.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rockdale with Father Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, with Rosary to be recited from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Banda was born March 25, 1934, in Buenavista, Mexico, to Severo and Antonia Banda.

He enjoyed cooking barbecue, being surrounded by his family and taking walks.

Survivors are his wife, Ma. De Jesús Llanas; sons Meliton Llanas Banda, Baltazar Llanas Banda and Jose De Jesus Banda; daughters Catalina Llanas Banda, Marina Llanas Banda, Maria Antonia Llanas Banda and Eloisa De Paz Banda; brothers Juan Banda, Cipriano Banda, Heriberto Banda, Bardomiano Banda and Isabol Banda; and sisters Elodia Banda, Francisco Banda, Refujio Banda and Felicira Banda; also, 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
