GIDDINGS—Funeral services for Willie Louis Beisert Jr., 71, of Loebau are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020, at the Christ Lutheran Church Pavilion in Lincoln with Rev. Garrett Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Beisert died Sunday, May 31, in Bryan.

He was born July 1, 1948, in Houston to Willie Louis Sr. and Ruby Eleanora (Matthijetz) Beisert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sr. and Ruby Beisert; a brother-in-law, J.V. Smith; a nephew, Blaine Beisert; and a great-niece, Elena Rusert.

Survivors are three brothers, Donald Beisert, Gary Beisert and wife Pam, all of Dallas, Ricky Beisert and wife Carol of Garland; a sister, Cheryl Smith of Oak Leaf; six nieces, Tina Rusert and husband Michael of Plano, Amanda Beisert of Dallas, Melissa Guerrero and husband Mark of San Antonio, Jan Turkington and husband Ryan of College Station, Brandi Smith of Dallas, Christina Smith of Huntsville; three nephews, Donald Beisert Jr. and wife Christine of Frisco, Alan Beisert and wife Maggie of Plano, Randy Beisert of Garland.
