Mildred “Fern” Bush, 89 of Milano, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at Legacy Nursing Home in Cameron.

Services will be private with burial at Newsom Cemetery in Pontotoc.

Mrs. Bush was born May 8, 1931, in Llano County to Ray and Thelma (Talley) Adams.

On July 2, 1948, she married Willard Dean Bush in Valley Springs. They soon moved to Milam County, where they made their home in Milano.

She enjoyed dancing and was a number one dance partner.

Mrs. Bush was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Bush on April 23, 2000; a son, Larry “Cocus” Bush on Oct. 1, 1988; her parents, Ray and Thelma Adams; and a brother, Glenn Adams.

Survivors are a son, Gary Bush of Milano; two daughters, Marcella Lovett and husband David of Lubbock, Marlene Pack and husband Roger of Rockdale; and her grandchildren, Corey Bush, Clifton “Corkey” Bush, Malissa Mieth and husband John, Becky Jo Thurman and husband Matthew, Neile Briden, Johnny Chance Pack, Emily Hall and Deanna Hall; also, seven great-grandchildren.
