Byron Franklin Wise

GAUSE—Byron Franklin  , 84, of Gause died Tuesday, March 26, 2019, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Minerva. Funeral services were held Monday, April 1, at the Robertson County Cowboy Church in Franklin with Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiating. Burial followed at Gause City Cemetery. Mr.  , a supervisor at MSI, was born March 23, 1935, in Paducah to Charles and Pansy (Franklin)  .

He recei ved his BA degree from Baylor University. He mar r ied Georgia Light on Sept. 26, 1969, and they spent next 49 years together in Gause. Mr.   suppor ted Milam County throughout the years in his involvement as a former Gause ISD School Board member, Gause VFD, Rockdale Roping & Cutting Club and other livestock organizations. He was a supporter of the 4-H and FFA youth of Milam County.

Mr.   was a lifelong cattleman. He was a member of the Gause Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Georgia   of Gause; a son, Curtis   and wife Leslie of Flower Mound; a daughter, Amber Reed and husband Mikel of Gause; a brother, Wayne   and wife Glenda of Paris, Texas; a sister-in-law, Ellen Ruth   of Mounds, Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren, Spencer  , Cameron  , Charlotte “Lottie”  , Penelope  , Garrett Reed, Maddison Reed and Vincent Harris
