Coldiron

Alvin “JR” Coldiron, 93, of Milano died Saturday Nov. 27, 2021, at his home in the Sand Grove community.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday Dec. 4 at Sand Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mr. Coldiron was born Aug. 5, 1928, in the Sand Grove community.

He was a member of Sand Grove Church of Christ.

Mr. Coldiron was a mechanic and also did maintenance work at TSTC in Waco for many years.

He had a passion for bowling which he pursued his whole life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Eunice Coldiron.

Survivors are a brother, Bobby Coldiron of Milano; a sister, Joyce Collins of Nederland; and two sons, Bruce Coldiron of Sweetwater, Thomas Coldiron of Milano; also, two grandsons, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
