Ruby Iona Crim, 85, of Cameron, formerly of Hearne, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Forest Grove Cemetery near Rockdale with Pastor Jim Platt and Pastor Lance Walch officiating.

Visitation is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Mrs. Crim was born Dec. 6, 1934, near Tanglewood in Lee County to Morris and Jesse Jewell (Stewart) Owens.

She was a 1951 graduate of Milano High School and a member of Forest Grove Christian Church in the Forest Grove community.

On Nov. 12, 1951, she married Robert Stence Crim in Caldwell.

Mrs. Crim was a member of the Eastern Star in Hearne.

She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, quilting, cooking, fishing and camping. Mrs. Crim was preceded in

Mrs. Crim was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Jesse Jewell Owens; her husband, Robert Crim on Aug. 9, 2007; a son, Jerald James Crim on May 5, 1979; two sisters, Louise Paschall and Nita Dwiggins; and a brother, Dale Owens.

Surviving are a son, Robert W. Crim and wife Lynne of Alpine; two grandchildren, Jesse Charles Crim of Alpine, Kelsy Marie Urie and husband Brett of Semi Valley, California; and a great-grandchild, Emerson Urie.

Pallbearers will be Travis Crim, Gary Crim, Jesse Crim, Ronny Crim, Dale Owens Jr. and Ray Ross.
