Darrell Schwamp

Darrell Schwamp, 70, of Rockdale died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

There are no services scheduled. Following Mr. Schwamp’s wishes, he will be cremated.

He was born Aug. 8, 1950, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Harold and Bertha (Powles) Schwamp.

Mr. Schwamp was an American Indian of the Oneida Nation.

He worked 23 years in quality control with Navistar Foundry until his retirement.

On May 17, 1973, he married Roxanne Kraatz in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Mr. Schwamp was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Byron, Allen and Dean; and a sister, Ester.

Survivors are his wife, RoxSurvivors are his wife, Roxanne Schwamp of Rockdale; two sons, Erik B. Schwamp of Waco, Kurt W. Schwamp of Spokane, Washington; a sister, Carolyn Faber of Brookfield, Wisconsin; and a granddaughter, Sadie M. Lone Bear of Mesa, California.
