Dodd

Maxine Loraine Dodd, 73, of Pflugerville, formerly of Davilla, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center.

Services were held Friday, March 2, at Davilla Assembly of God Church in Davilla with Rev. Randy Holtzclaw offi ciating. Burial followed at Davilla Cemetery.

Mrs. Dodd was born to Margaret Lorraine (Cow-an) and Fred Bernard Wilson Sr. on July 22, 1944, in Robstown.

On Nov. 4, 1961, she married James Lee Dodd Sr. in Davilla. They lived the past 18 years in Pflugerville.

Mrs. Dodd was a banking accountant and then worked for Child Protective Services for the State of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband, James Lee Dodd Sr. of Pflugerville; a son, James I. Dodd Jr. and wife Renee of Lexington; a daughter, Julie Dodd of Pflugerville; three grandchildren, Jaimee Dodd, Wayne Manley and Kristan Manley; four great-grandchildren, Will, Mike, Elizabeth and Daniel; two brothers, Fred B. Wilson Jr. and wife Sheena of Lilac, Thomas N. Wilson of Austin; and a sister, Sarah Marie Guthrie and husband Jimmy of Lilac.
