She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church for almost 50 years. She loved the Lord and her brothers and sisters in Christ and served Meadowbrook as choir director, personnel chairman, hospitality chairman, member of the budget committee, member of the praise team, and often performed as a soloist.

In her lifetime, Denice served the Lord by serving others. Never dwelling on the negative, she always had a smile on her face. She was known for her innovative leadership, fairness to all, and her joyfulness with an innate ability to do what is right in the Christian ethic.
