Downey

James “Bo” Elvin Downey, died Monday, July 20, 2020, in Crandall.

He was born in Hearne on Jan. 3, 1954, to J.T. Downey and Mozelle Downey.

Mr. Downey attended Milano High School, where he graduated in 1972.

He worked as a mechanic for many years. After retiring, he enjoyed working on the farm and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Downey was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Mozelle Downey, and a sister, Barbara Popham.

Survivors are his children, Quentin Downey, Crystal Scott and husband Michael; his grandchildren, Joey Diaz, Alexa Carter and husband Chad, Miranda Scott, Lara Downey and Calista Downey; his great-grandchildren, Audrey Diaz, Maverick Carter and Slade Carter; and his siblings, Dora Little, Dorothy Wilson, Mary Dockall, Jack Downey, Jerry Downey, Billy Downey, Martha Paschall, Linda Cotton, Kathy Clifford, Roy Downey and Butch Downey.
