Debbie Evans, 70, of Taylor, formerly of Rockdale, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale.

Visitation is set for 12-noon until service time at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Ms. Evans was born Aug. 14, 1951, in Cameron to Dennis and Alyne (Alexander) Todd.

She was a graduate of Rockdale High School.

Ms. Evans worked as a deposit operations specialist with Citizens National Bank for 15 years, retiring on Dec. 31, 2020.

She enjoyed shopping, going to the beach and making as many garage sales she could find.

She was a Texas Longhorn fan and an avid reader.

Ms. Evans was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Todd and Alyne Todd Yoakum; a brother, Richard Allan Todd; and a grandson, Justin Caywood.

Survivors are three children, Ronald Caywood and Heather Caywood Thomas, both of Rockdale, Jimmy Evans of Bull Shores, Arkansas; four sisters, Susan Johnston, Donna Vasquez and Robin Yoakum, all of Rockdale, Kim Giles of Gorman, Arkansas; and a brother, Cody Yoakum; also, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cody Yoakum, Ron Caywood, Zach Caywood, Nathan Thomas, Braden Thomas, Stefan Turillio and Jimmy Evans.
