Wilma Jean Fritz, 84, of Denton died Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at the Medical Center in Denton.

Funeral services will be private family services.

She was born Oct. 29, 1936, in Rockdale to Floyd E m m i t t a n d Willard Rae (Clymore) Davenport.

On May 12, 1956, she married Richard E. Fritz Jr. at First Christian Church in Rockdale.

Mrs. Fritz worked as an accountant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fritz Jr. on Feb. 11, 2010; a son, Steven R. Fritz on March 25, 1996; her father, Floyd Davenport; her mother and stepfather, Willard R. and Harvey F. Carver; two brothers, Weldon and Charles Davenport; her grandparents, Robert and Rachel Davenport and Marshall Guy and Annie Ethel Clymore; and a sister-in-law, Nina Davenport.

Survivors are a brother, Larry Davenport of Avondale, Arizona; her grandchildren, Kimberly Graham and husband William III of Corinth, Jason Fritz and Tony Bermea, both of Denton; her great-grandchildren, Gavin and Jaxon Graham, Braxton and Steven Bermea; and a sister-in-law, Lois Davenport of Katy.
