Grimes

Patricia Dee Faller Grimes was called home on Sept. 7, 2021, at the age of 73.

Patricia was born Jan. 23, 1948, in Houston to Harold and Estella Koltes Faller.

She grew up in San Antonio and attended St. Cecilia’s Parish and School, later graduating from Providence High School. She graduated with bachelor of music education from Our Lady of the Lake University.

Patricia was married July 20, 1974, to Tommy Paul Grimes in Lake Jackson and remained married 43 years until she was widowed on April 18, 2018. They had two children together.

Patricia and Tommy moved to Rockdale in 2001 and Patricia resided in Rockdale until 2019.

A devout Catholic, Patricia served as a cantor and lector at masses and was formerly the director of religious education for St. Joseph’s Church in Rockdale.

Patricia is survived by her two children, Margaret Erlandson and Timothy Grimes, and their families, as well as her older sister, Barbara Faller.
