Hall

Ronald “Dean” Hall, 58, of Marquez died Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at 12 -noon Saturday, June 13, at the home of Mariah Stroud.

Mr. Hall was born May 23, 1962, in Rockdale to Don Hall and Esther Lloyd.

He lived in Rockdale and attended school through 1 975 b e f o r e moving to Marquez. He graduated from Leon High School in 1980.

After graduation, Mr. Hall joined the U.S. Navy and served six years as an electrician before retiring.

He had two children, a daughter, Moriah and husband Colton of Normangee, and a son, Ronnie Hall of Franklin.

Mr. Hall enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially his grandchildren, Javen Colle, Peytyn Colle, Jaxson Colle and Kolesyn Stroud.

He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed lending a helping hand.

Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his stepmom, Neta Faye Hall.

Survivors are his father, Don Hall Sr. of Bryan; his mother, Esther Lloyd of Fairfield; five sisters, Karen Smith of Roanoke, Shirley Alexander and husband Jimmy of Rockdale, Debra Gersbach and husband Ron, Sherry Bell and husband Steve, all of Burleson, Donna McGee and husband David of Fairfield; and a brother, Don Hall Jr. and wife Barbara of Fairfield; also, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
