Hernandez

A memorial service for Kelley Hernandez, 61, of Rockdale is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Daniel Aguilar officiating.

Ms. Hernandez was born July 31, 1960, in Mesa, Arizona, to Glen Allen and Louise Shannon (Reece) Grant.

She lived most of her life in Rockdale and worked as a cashier in area convenience stores.

Ms. Hernandez enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She was a member of Hunters Chase Garden Club.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Louise Grant, and a sister, Rhonda Kaye Grant.

Survivors are a son, Steven Aguilar and wife Stacie of Rockdale; a daughter, Natasha Aguilar of Rockdale; two brothers, Dwayne Crow and wife Janice of Mesa, Arizona, Jeff Grant and wife Susan of Weatherford; a sister, Glenna Peacock and husband Kenneth of Red Oak; seven grandchildren, Hayden, Kaleigh, Addison and Sophia Aguilar, Madelynn Matthews, Colt and Jace Aguilar; and her best friend, Steve Aguilar of Rockdale.
