Jackson

Lena Jean Jackson, 51, of Rockdale died Sunday Sept. 12, 2021, after an auto accident near Rockdale.

No services are planned and her body will be cremated.

Ms. Jackson was born Sept. 4, 1970, in Hearne to Barbara Jean (Walter) and Julian Tovar Sr.

She attended school in Rockdale and was most recently working as a manager with McDonald’s in Rockdale.

She and Mike Warren were married in November 2012 and he preceded her in death.

Ms. Jackson was also preceded in death by a son, Joshua Ray Spiers; her mother, Barbara Walter; her father, Julian Tovar Sr.; a brother, Tiger Tovar; a sister, Alene Talafuse; her stepfather Raymond Talafuse; and an uncle, Ray Tovar.

Surviving are three daughters, Marlayna Tovar and Paul Crawford of Lexington, Daphanie Spiers of Minerva, and Brittany Spiers; two sisters, Tina Carrol and husband Russel, and Teresa Lawhon, all of Rockdale; eight grandchildren, Brooklynn and Axle Castillo, Brian Jr., Alex and Trinity Robinson, Kinley Heidi Spiers, Will and Jeremiah Tovar; her cousins, Norma Dawson, Art Tovar, Bob Tovar and Joe Tovar, all of Rockdale; and a nephew, Lee Tovar and wife Shelley of Rockdale.
