CROCKETT—Mattie Diane Jenkins, 77, of Crockett died Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Whitehall Nursing Center in Crockett.

A memorial service will be held, 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Porter Springs Outreach Center, 3656 FM 132 in Crockett.

Ms. Jenkins was born Nov. 23, 1943, in Rockdale to Andrew and Annie Morris.

She worked as a Registered Nurse for 45-plus years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Emerald Morris, Wayne Morris and wife Nora, Curtis Morris and wife Irene; also, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Survivors are her daughter, Cheryl Mills; her son, Billy May; grandkids Stephanie Morrison and significant other Raymond, Garrett Tadlock and wife Melinda, Dustin Burris and wife Emily; great-grandkids Josiah Morrison, Breannah Morrison, Wyatt Davis, Maverick Tadlock, Levi Tadlock, Preston Tadlock, Gavin Burris, Jacob Burris and Constance Ortega.
