Joyce Brandstetter

Services for Joyce Brandstetter, 88, of Milano were held Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Jimmy Fennell officiating. Burial was at Liberty Cemetery near Milano.

Mrs. Brandstetter died Tuesday, Aug. 3,at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

She was born July 25, 1933, in Somerville to Russell L. and Ada Pearl (Simpson) Moses.

On Oct. 4, 1955, she married Larry Lee Brandstetter Sr. in Brenham.

Mrs. Brandstetter was a homemaker, enjoyed outdoor life, gardening, tending to her flowers, loving on her cats and giving her attention and care to all animals. She was always helping people.

She as preceded in death by her husband, Larry Sr. on Oct. 14, 1995; as well as, her parents, three brothers and five sisters.

Survivors are a son, Larry Lee Brandstetter Jr. of Milano; and two daughters, Lola Jean Brandstetter of Milano, Gloria Ann Lunsford of Houston.

Pallbearers were Alfred Carl Iselt Jr., Walter William Dube Jr., Robert Dube, James Hathorn Spencer, Brian Terry and Patrick Terry.
