Judy Carole Dyer Sivadon

MARBLE FALLS—Judy Carole Dyer Sivadon was born July 14, 1952, in Cameron to her loving parents, Wendell and Geor gie Dyer. She was the youngest of three daughters.

Judy passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of July 28, 2023, at the age of 71 in Marble Falls.

Judy was bapt ized at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in 1960 and currently attended First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls.

Judy graduated from Rockdale High School in 1970, where she was a stellar athlete in basketball and especially track. In her early years, she was ranked second in the nation in AAU track. That gene for track was passed down to her daughter and now her granddaughter.

Judy graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1974 with a BS in education.

Judy loved children and she was a very creative teacher. She retired from teaching in 2022.

Judy had a wonderful “green thumb,” and could make the smallest plant flourish. Her yard was beautiful.

Judy was also an accomplished artist and decorator. She generously shared her oil paintings with her family.

Judy was a member of Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Texas State Teachers Association and was a licensed Real Estate agent.

On April 22, 1987, Judy married Ted Sivadon in San Marcos.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Georgie Dyer (1979 and 1996); her husband, Ted Sivadon in 2017; and a great-nephew Dustin John Pickel in 2014.

Judy is sur vived by her daughter, Tracy Goggans and husband Wes, and her son, Reagan Sivadon and wife Kristina all of Marble Falls.

Judy was known as “Mimi” to her five grandchildren, Bailey, Garrett, Graham, Reagan and Gracie.

Also surviving are her two sisters, Wenda Dyer and Sharon Shoemake and husband John, all of Rockdale.

She is survived by niece Kelly Pickel and husband Jeff, and nephew Kirby Shoemake and wife Kristy, all of Rockdale.

“Greats” surviving Aunt Judy are Braden, Collin, Morgan and Molly.

She will also be missed by many relatives and friends.

Private family graveside services will be held as per Judy’s wishes.
