MILANO—Owen “Leon” Knight Sr., 66, of Milano died Jan. 6, 2021.

A memorial service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Knight family home, 9173 US 79 East, in Milano.

Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Dorothy Knight, and a brother, G eorge R ay Knight Sr.

Survivors are his wife, Shar on Knight of Gause; ason, Owen and wife Brandi Knight of Franklin; a daughter, Anita and husband DeWayne Philpott of Teague; 11 grandchildren, Stephanie, Tricia, Ethen, Jacob, Marlie, Danielle, Ashtin, Colton, Andrew, Mckenzie and Mckayla; four great-grandchildren, Riley, Paisley, Hazel and Ezra; and his sisters, Jewel and husband Jim Shaw of College Station, Carolyn Brown of Arlington, Dell and husband Buddy Thurman, Nancy and husband Larry Wadlington, Jo Ann and husband Carl Reistino, Mary and husband Steve Honeycutt, Linda Gail Pace and Joe Van Winkle, all of Milano; also, 25 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
