Billy was born on Dec. 6, 1972, in Bryan to the late Larry Joe and Janice Marie Maddox-Lange. He graduated from Caldwell High School in May of 1992.

At the age of 20, on March 17, 1993, Billy joined the U.S. Marine Corps and proudly served his country until his Honorable Discharge as an E-4, Corporal on March 17, 1997.

On Oct. 13, 2006, 2 families became one as Billy and Dawn Murski married and made Brenham their home. Billy was a loving and devoted father. Billy loved his sons, Ty, Austin, Gabriel and Alex. They were his world and the most important part of his life.

Billy was a welder by trade and worked his way up to a project manager. Billy enjoyed and loved watching his favorite football teams which were Texas A&M and the Dallas Cowboys. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends, barbecuing, camping, fishing or spending time relaxing at his peaceful getaway in Somerville where he would build a fire, sit and watch the deer. He also liked to buy trucks, restore and sell them. He could listen to any vehicle and tell what was wrong with it.

Billy’s energy, mischief, kindness, zest for life and big heart are what his family and friends will remember. Billy will be forever loved and greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
