Locklin

Henry Locklin, 62, of Minerva died Wednesday, July 1, 2020, in Rockdale.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 7, at Locklin Cemetery near San Gabriel.

Mr. Locklin was born May 23, 1958, in Fort Worth to Samuel Henry and Gladys Twomey Locklin.

He lived the past 33 years in Minerva and was a self-employed contractor.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Locklin was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Samuel Ray Locklin and Allen Dale Locklin; and two sisters, Janie Janell Locklin and Bethanie Locklin.

Survivors are a daughter, Christy Locklin of Minerva; a son, Dustin Locklin of Cameron; three grandchildren, Collin Jones, John Jones and MyKayla Jones; three brothers, Bolton Locklin of Somerville, Leslie Locklin of Huntsville, Harvey Locklin of Austin; and five sisters, Shirley Ferguson of Clute, Edna Jones, Rita Stepp and Sandra Huddleston, all of Rockdale, Debra Wade of Lexington.
