Funeral services for Audelia Martinez, 65, of Rockdale will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at Harvest Bible Church in Rockdale with Pastor Brad Dusenberry officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale.

Visitation will also be at the church and is set for 12-noon until service time at 2 p.m. on Friday.

Mrs. Martinez died Thursday, Sept. 2, at her home in Rockdale.

She was born June 6, 1956, in San Antonio to Doreteo and SanJuana (Palacios) Perez.

She married Eusebio Martinez Jr. They moved to Rockdale in 1995.

Mrs. Martinez was a stay-at-home mom and was famous for making tamales.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eusebio Martinez Jr. on Oct. 23, 2019; her parents, Doreteo and SanJuana Perez; four brothers, Joaquine, Avelino, Juan and Filimon Perez; and four sisters, Ramona Reyes, Dominga Duran, Cuca Perez and Dora Perez.

Survivors are a daughter, Gloria Rivera and husband Angel of Rockdale; two sons, Angel Martinez and wife Ashley of Rockdale, Eusebio Martinez III and wife Ashley of Temple; two sisters, Carmen Paves of Florida, SanJuana Montelongo of Temple; a brother, Frank Perez and wife Ramona of Hearne; and five grandchildren, Mariaelena Rivera, Verenice Rivera, Maycee Martinez, Makayla Martinez and Malakai Martinez.

Pallbearers will be Angel Martinez, Eusebio Martinez III, Leo Montelongo, John Montelongo, Angel Rivera, Daniel Castillo, Ben Montelongo and Juan Montelongo II. Honorary pallbearer is Malakai Martinez.
