Mayfield

Regina (Jones) Mayfield, 62, of Pflugerville died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at her home.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no services are scheduled, but a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Mayfield will be cremated.

She was born July 9, 1957, to Ollie Jones and Helen Marie Jones.

She married Winston Nelson Sr. in Cameron in 1977.

Later, in 1982, she married Evelon Mayfield in Cameron.

Mrs. Mayfield graduated from Rockdale High School in 1976. She attended Temple Junior College.

She worked for Rockdale Independent School District, Hutto ISD and Round Rock ISD.

Mrs. Mayfield was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise Jones; her father, Ollie Jones; and her mother, Helen Jones.

Survivors are a son, Winston Nelson Jr. of Rockdale; a daughter, Erica Mayfield of Pflugerville; her siblings, Carl Jones, Wayne Jones and Kathleen Jones, all of Austin, Ivy Jones and Janice Jones, both of Round Rock, Vickie Jones and Veronica Jones-Crumpton, both of Pflugerville, Darryl Jones of Elgin, Calvin and Lanna Jones of Rockdale; and four grandchildren, Tahara Limbrick, Mia Nelson, Winston Nelson III and Lynox Dixon.
