Services for Gregoria (Grace) Llanes Morales will be held at Milam County Cowboy Church, at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, with Doug Marburger officiating, followed by food and f e l l o w s h i p . Ms. Morales was born in Palacios on Nov. 17, 1939.

She resided in Rockdale for 53 years.

She focused her years taking care of her children and grandchildren.

After her children were grown and gone, Ms. Morales’ main focus was on serving the elderly through home health care.

She was a true servant of God and God’s grace on earth.

She enjoyed cooking for her kids, grandkids and being the place where anyone in need could fall.

Ms. Morales was proceeded in death by her parents, Cosme Hernandez Llanes and Ana Marmolejo Llanes; her brothers, Demetrio M. Llanes, George Llanes, Lorenzo Llanes, Canuto Llanes, Timothy Llanes and Fabian Llanes; a sister Mary Flores; a son, Gabriel Morales on July 28, 2018; and a great-grandchild, Alexander Murray.

Survivors are her children, Susana Morales, Linda Ferrell and Dalton James, and Rachael Morales, all of Bryan, Benito Morales Jr., Adrian Morales and Lorenzo Morales, all of Rockdale, Roseana and Leon Marroquin of Palacios, Jimmy and Anita Morales of Temple; also, 23 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers in Rockdale will be BJ Morales, LaMonte Robinson, Roman Morales, Jacksen Morales, Timothy Jay and Jason Marroquinn.

Pallbearers in Palacios will be BJ Morales, LaMonte Robinson, Jason Marroquinn, Mark Llanes, Jacksen Morales and Timothy Jay.
