A funeral service for Adrian “Big A” Donnel Morrison, 36, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Royal Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.

Visitation is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 25, at the funeral home.

Mr. Morrison passed away Thursday, June 17, in Rockdale.

He was born Feb. 13, 1985, to JD and Peggy (Bonney) Morrison in Rockdale.

He graduated from Rockdale High School, Class of 2003.

Mr. Morrison had a heart of gold, loved making others laugh and making his nieces happy. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Dan Morrison; his grandparents, A.D. and Olivia Morrison, Norvell and Betty Ewing; two aunts, Ardelia Hunt and Esponala Swanson; and an uncle, Edward Morrison.

Survivors are his mother, Peggy Morrison of Rockdale; a special friend, Cherondra Grogans of Port Lavaca; four sisters, Samanthia Harrison and husband Donald of Humble, Sabrina Cleaver and husband Mike Stewart of California, Judy Johnson and husband Samuel Johnson Jr. of Odessa, Angela Ray of Alaska; four aunts, Frankie Cox of Houston, Eulia Smith of Odessa, Elmarie Heslip of Caldwell Frankie Roulhac of Waco; and three uncles, Earl Bonney of Rockdale, James Bonney and wife Desera of Austin, Norvell “Bit” Ewing and wife Shelia of Virginia; also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
