Saturday, May 23, 2020, marked the loss of long time Rockdale resident, June Corrine Setzer Neal. M r s . N e a l died at her home.

Graveside services will commence at Memory Gardens of Edna. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home hosted a morning vigil on Wednesday, May 27, prior to her transport to Edna for interment.

Mrs. Neal was Lexington Independent School District’s high school business teacher and head of the business department for 27 years. She marveled at her students and their subsequent accomplishments later in life.

Mrs. Neal was an avid bowler, dance enthusiast, amazing artist, international traveler, cattle producer and rancher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wing Setzer and Sylvia Ethelwinn Chapman Setzer, and two brothers, Gordon Jan Setzer and John (Jack) Junior Setzer.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheri M. Willocks, and her son-in-law, Dwane L. Rigg of Rockdale, along with two grandchildren, Shawn C. Willocks and K. Celeste Bryant of Tennessee; four great-grandchildren, Blake Willocks, R. Barrett Willocks, Emory Bryant and Jacob Bryant.
