Norwood

Kay (Nana, Granny) Norwood of Beaukiss, formerly from Rockdale, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020.

She was born on Nov. 18, 1936, in Waco to Howard and Lillian Salter.

She was a graduate of Lorena High School.

Graveside services are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

O n M a y 7, 1955, she married Sonny Norwood at First Baptist Church in

Lorena.

Mrs. Norwood was proceeded in death by her husband, Sonny Norwood, and her parents, Howard and Lillian Salter.

Survivors are her children, Debbie and Robert Gant of Maryville, Tennessee, Kathie and Billy Sherrill of Beaukiss, Johnny and Colleen Norwood of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Jaime (Cedric) Shepherd, Riley (Cohen) Brown, Reagan Sapp (Corby), and Baylor Norwood; a great-grandchild Chloe Shepherd; and a brother, Robert and Betty Salter; also, several nieces and nephews.
