Funeral services for Curtis Praesel, 71, of Taylor will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Mr. Praesel died Friday, June 10, at Seton Medical Williamson Hospital in Round Rock.

He was born April 12, 1951, in Fort Hood to Carl Emil and Virgie Lee (Clark) Praesel.

While living in Rockdale, he was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

Mr. Praesel lived the past several years in Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Virgie Praesel.

Survivors are his brothers, Richard D. Praesel of Georgetown, Donald W. Praesel of Bandon, Oregon, and Carl E. Praesel and wife Gloria of Corpus Christi.
