Reese

Kevin “Cowpoke” Lee Reese died Saturday, July 25, 2020, in Milano.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 1, at Liberty Cemetery near Milano with Pas tor Gary Westbrook officiating.

Mr. Reese was born Aug. 3, 1966, in Rockdale to Billy and Linda Reese.

He was a 1984 Milano ISD graduate.

He worked as a ranch hand and bull hauler all his life.

Mr. Reese enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, but what comes a close second was his trucks to be “Arkin and Sparkin” (decked out in chrome and lit up with chicken lights).

He was preceded in death by his mom, Linda Wieder-hold.

Survivors are his parents, Billy and Diana Reese, and Bill Wiederhold, all of Milano; a son, William Reese and wife Jatanna of Aransas Pass; a daughter, Jessica Padgett and husband Will of Franklin.

Also, four sisters, Missy Coldiron and husband Randy, Kelly Lane and husband Eddie, all of Milano, Sheila Codoluto and husband David, and Tracy Simpson, all of The Woodlands; and four grandchildren, Braxton, Eli and Makayla Reese, and Peyton Padgett; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers were Eddie Lane, Curtis Barnett, Carl Dean Blake, Buster Bode, Robert Stevenson and Michael Kellum.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert Reese, Daniel Clanton, Will Padgett, Justin Lane, Ray Threadgill and Randy Coldiron.
