Dannie W. Robbins Jr., af fectionately known as
Mr. Robbins
“Butch” to many, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 65.
Born on July 11, 1960, in Rockdale, Dannie spent most of his adult life living and working in Rockdale.
He enjoyed spending time wi t h f ami ly and friends, sitting on the front porch, country living, driving his dump truck, operating heavy equipment, spending time around horses, eating chicken fried steak and Mexican food, and watching television. He appreciated the simple pleasures of life and the people he loved.
Dannie was preceded in death by his parents, Dannie W. Robbins Sr. and Judy McCaskill Robbins, and by his sister, Angel Robbins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sandy Robbins; his daughters, Maria Leena Robbins and husband Jordan Shackleford Sr., Ariana Dennay Robbins, and Kinsey Robbins; and his grandchildren, Avie Whitehead, Nicholas Robbins, Leilani Wheeler, Ava Wheeler, and Jordan Shackleford Jr.
He is also survived by his siblings, Kathy (Alan) Riske, Deborah (Norman) Pollock, Damion Robbins, and Matthew (Sena) Robbins; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
