LEANDER—Marion Gail Ferrell S olomon, 6 , of Taylor answered heaven’s call and went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020.

A celebration of Gail’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2 , at RockPointe Church, 1070 CR. 177, Leander.

Gail was born on March 5, 1955, in Austin.

S urvivors are a son, Michael Young of Leander; a daughter, Amanda Burkett of Montgomery a sister and best friend, Lisa Gay Hord of Taylor grandchildren Ethan, Trace, Jacob, Lilly, Corbett, and Johnathan; a special friend, Eddie Moreno and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Gail was predeceased by grandparents, Bascom and Minnie Hill; parents John Charles and Della Louise Chesser; brothers Jackie S cruggs and Bobby Ferrell daughter tephanie Dianne Young and husband Preston “Pete” S olomon.

Gail had a firm faith in God and a sincere love for her S avior, Jesus Christ. S he was devoted to her family and set out every day to be the best sister, mother, grandmother, and friend possible. S he was instrumental in helping her children turn their lives around, she loved Johnny Horton, and her favorite color was red.
