Annabelle Stork, 89, of Taylor died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at the Winnie L. Nursing Home in Cameron.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Veit of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial followed at Bushdale Cemetery near Rockdale.

Mrs. Stork was born March 4, 1929, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Jasper and Mable Irene (Triplett) Pomeleo.

She married Emmitt Lee Stork on Oct. 14, 1950, in Rockdale.

She lived in Taylor the past several years and was formerly of Houston and Elgin.

Mrs. Stork was a homemaker and had worked as a building attendant at the University of Texas in Austin.

She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Elgin and was member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Stork enjoyed weekly trips to Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Mable Irene Pomeleo; a son, Billy Rae Crisp; a brother, Kenneth Pomeleo; a sister, Dorothy Blaze; and a great-granddaughter, Kasie Clary.

Survivors are her husband, Emmitt Stork of Taylor; a son, Jimmy Lee Stork and wife Pam of Taylor; and a brother, Thomas Lee Pomeleo of Conroe; also, four grandchildren and a number of great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Thomas Wenzel, Amos Wenzel, David Wenzel, Dennis Baggerly, Allen Baggerly and Matt Baggerly.
